Discovering the Correct Abdominal Exercise That Gives You Ripped Abs

Even though numerous individuals concentrate on abdominal exercise to flatten and strengthen their stomach, in quite a few instances they are training their stomach to stick out instead of appearing flat and solid. Numerous individuals observe some changes when they initially start to workout their abs, but little changes after a month or two.
The first error many individuals do when executing an abdominal exercise is not the particular exercises they perform, but how they do them. Numerous individuals merely go through the motions while performing sit-ups and other ab exercise, and step-up the number of repetitions over time and find little difference.
Training Your Abs
With the objective of getting your stomach to be really flat, it is essential you train your muscles to acquire this shape. To attain flat abs, you must tighten up your stomach muscles during your abdominal exercise. Prior to beginning this abdominal exercise, suck your stomach in as though you were trying to tuck in your shirt and tighten the muscles in your stomach. Persist in keeping your muscles tight all through your repetitions.
If you do this correctly, it is likely you will feel quite a bit more of a burn in your abs compared to if you were to do a similar workout routine in the absence of tightening your abs. By holding your muscles tight and pulled in while you execute an ab exercise, you exercise for them to remain in that state rather than being unshaped but strong.
While it appears as if you do plenty sit-ups and commit to good eating habits you should be deserving of flat well defined abs, however, this is not the case. Regrettably, the workout routine you apply to strengthen and shape your abs may not be intended to develop the six-pack abs you are searching for.
Unique Abdominal Exercises
You might not understand it, but your ab workout might simply work your upper abs, providing you a two-pack rather than the hoped for six. In order to acquire traffic-stopping abs, it will be necessary for you to do an assortment of abdominal exercise workouts that center on various abdominal muscle groups.
There are a variety of unique sit-ups you can employ to concentrate on various abdominal muscle groups, in addition to exercises that involve you to lift or swing your legs out. While sit-ups are the most widely applied abdominal exercise, abdominal workout programs that require your abs to tighten in order to keep you well-balanced will produce splendid end results because these workouts will work the smaller and difficult to tone muscles in your abdominal area.
These are exercises for overall toned abs. Nevertheless, no single abdominal exercise will develop perfect abs. A beneficial exercise for your abs had better expect you to do a assortment of unique ab workouts.
Even though everyone would like to have perfect abs, diet, genetics, and life can sometimes get in the way. However, any abdominal exercise you can fit into your schedule will help get your stomach muscles tightened and burn any extra fat you might have in this area, as well as keep the pounds off in the holiday seasons.

The Secret to Sexy Ripped Abs Revealed

Every time you turn on the TV, have you ever counted how many ads or even shows have these great looking, slim, sexy people on there who look like they were just blessed with their toned bodies? Makes you wish, right? Well, you can stop wishing because that body is very attainable and getting those sexy abs is very possible. How did I know it was the abs you were eyeing?
Because everyone wants to have flat sexy abs! So the next thing is how to go about getting them. Well, just like with anything else worth working hard for, you need to have the right information but that is not the solution, just a first step. Keep in mind that it will require some hard work from you to achieve this sexy look.
The first thing you need to do is forget everything that people have told you about how to get sexy flat abs. Toned abs are not a result of hundreds of crunches or thousands of sit-ups or anything like that. Also, toned abs are not a result of using over-priced, useless ab machines.
There are a few gimmicky toys that come to mind but those are completely useless. If you fail to have the right foundation, no amount of hoping, wishing, or purchasing of silly gimmicks will get you those toned abs you desire. What will is learning about how to build on that foundation and then following through on that new knowledge. You must work to get these highly sought after toned abs. So here are some key points to think about:
- Eat healthy and stick to it. Your diet should include fruits, vegetables and high quality meats with no processed foods. Drink plenty of water, about 8-10 glasses a day to keep yourself hydrated. And no matter what, avoid processed foods, including fast food, otherwise you are stopping yourself in your tracks and wasting your own time.
- Excess body fat will stop you in your tracks. Lose the belly fat and reduce overall body fat and you will be well on your way to toned abs. But you must lose the excess fat to get there.
- Sleep and you will help yourself get to those toned abs. You should always get roughly 8 hours of sleep a night but even more so since you are working out. If you can, take small naps. This will help your body re-energize.
- Lose the ab exercises! Go with cardio instead. Running on the treadmill or on a track or even outdoors will greatly reduce your body fat, which is one of the keys to getting toned abs. Ab exercises were never meant to burn fat because they are not structured to do so. It is only through cardio workouts that you will be able to burn fat.
If you can stick to these key points, then you will be well on your way to having your own sexy toned abs. It is important to stick to it though, no matter how tough it may get or how much you might crave a certain processed food. Stay strong and stick to it and you will soon see those highly desired flat toned abs!

Get Abs Without Gym

How to get abs if you do not have access to a gym? Do not get frustrated! There is still another way and hundreds of others are doing it and still get awesome results!
If you think that abs of steel can only be made in the gym? You are wrong! Do not give up hope of losing belly fat and getting a flat stomach if you cannot afford expensive gym memberships because you can get abs without any gym equipment at all!
With the saying, If there is a will, there is a way. You can get abs if you can satisfy these few general criteria, which is getting a good cardio workout, abdominal training, some resistance training and weight loss dieting. If all these factors are being worked at, there is no reason that your body would not respond and get a 6 pack.
Here, you about to get tips on how to get abs without gym and sophisticated fitness equipment. All you need is a pair of running shoes, a place to jog, a mat and a strong burning desire to get 6 pack! Do at least 3 session of cardio workout per week.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 1
Do wind sprints! Yes, you can now get away with the boring usual forty-five minute cardio workout sessions. For this wind sprint cardio workout or also called high intensity interval training, you need a large field or a long stretch of road about at least 100 yards. It involves 10 intervals where by one interval consist of a 100-yard sprint and 100-yard jog. So, to do this excellent cardio workout, you need to set a target that is 100 yards away. It can be a tree or a lamppost. You then sprint as fast as you can towards it and when you reach it, you turn around and jog back to the starting point. Do 10 intervals. This wind sprint cardio workout can really speed up your metabolism and burn the fat off!
How To Get Abs Without Gym 2
Do push ups. Do not look down on this exercise just because it is the most practiced exercise in high school. Push-up is a very effective exercise to build up upper body strength like the chest muscles, shoulder muscles, triceps and the core. Really challenge yourself when you do push ups. Go beyond your body capability and take your endurance to the max! If you did fifty reps last week, do sixty this time and when you reach failure, push it harder by doing partial reps.
There are many ways to make a push up more difficult. You can push-ups with your feet on top of a bench, push ups with one foot and push ups with a clap between reps. To do the push up with a clap in between reps, you launch as high as possible during the up phase so that both your hands are off the ground, then in mid air, you clap before coming down to starting position.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 3
Now it is time for some abdominal work to get that flat stomach. The abdominal muscles are just like any other muscles in the body. They will improve and respond if the principle of over load is applied. You do not need expensive and modern gadgets to really hit the abs. You can really work the abdominal muscles by just doing floor abdominal exercises.
Crunches are one of the best abdominal exercises. Basically, to do a crunch, you just need to lie down on the floor, face facing up and palms lightly touching the back of your head with the elbows spread wide. Lift your shoulder blades of the floor and maintain an orange size gap between your chin and your chest. Do not pull your head. You need not go all the way up, just make sure your lower back is flat on the floor and the shoulder blades are off. Hold the contraction the top for at least one second and come back to the starting point under controlled.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 4
In gyms, a lot of people do hanging leg raises and captain chair leg raises for lower abdominals. Do not worry if you do not have access to these high tech equipment. You can really target your lower abdominals by doing reverse crunches on the floor as well.
To do execute this exercise, lie down flat on the floor facing up. Raise your legs so that your knees are bent and your thighs are at right angles with the floor. With a strict form, raise your lower back of the floor so that your knees are now above your chest. Do not forget to squeeze your lower abs at the peak of the contraction. Do three to four sets of thirty solid reps on each abs session.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 5
Do not forget about your core. The function of your core is to hold your tummy in and to protect your spinal cord. To work your core, you need to do planks and this can be done just on the floor. To perform the plank, lie down facing down with your elbows under your shoulder, forearms parallel with each other, one foot apart. With just your elbows and toes, lift your entire body off the floor by squeezing your abdominals and butt muscles. Keep your entire body one straight line from head to toe.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 6
You do not need any complicated equipment for getting on a weight loss diet. Dieting has a tremendous play in all efforts. You are what you eat they say it seems very through. If you put garbage in your body, no matter how much exercise you do, getting a 6 pack will be an almost impossible task. You have to feed the muscles with quality nutrients like low fat protein and low glycemic carbs. Avoid simple sugars, high fat foods, junk food, simple sugars and high sodium containing foods. As clearly stated by Tom Venuto the author of Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, you can get a nice set of rock hard abs without any supplements at all. All you need is the right method of exercise and eating fat burning foods!
How To Get Abs Without Gym 7
Spice up your workout for extra calorie burn! The body is an amazing system that has the capability of evolving. If you have been doing a particular workout for a long period of time, your body will adapt to its effects and your fat loss results will plateau. You have to keep the body guessing, as this will optimize your fat loss. There are many ways of changing your workout and one good example is by applying high intensity workout techniques like supersets, tri sets and giant sets.
You can also mix up the muscle combination that exercises in a day. Even my changing the reps and sets in a workout can keep the body guessing. For example in stead working out the chest and back in day 1, work the chest and biceps instead. Try this month heavy and the next month light but high reps.
How To Get Abs Without Gym 8
Do not do lateral movements for oblique muscles, do rotation movements instead. You can see people doing weighted side bends to get those nice stripes of oblique muscles but really, they are making a big mistake. To really get results, you have to do rotation movements like rotation crunches. The function of the oblique is to rotate the torso, that is why doing rotation movements are better that lateral movements.
Well, hope you now have a better understanding on how to get abs without fancy and high tech equipments. You have got to really believe in yourself that you can do it. All you need to do to get an awesome body is the right method of getting abs, have the heart, passion and desire. Persevere and you sure can do it!

Hot Abs Workout – Get Sexy Hot Abs Fast!

When it comes to exercises for hot abs, crunches may be the first thing to pop in your mind. In fact, some aspirers of great hot abs would only do crunches. However, there are five major abdominal muscles that need attention, and crunches do not exercise all of these abs muscles. In fact, the ideal exercise routine for hot 6 pack abs does not only involve the abdominal muscles. Cardiovascular and strength exercises should be part of the routine as well.

Work that Body!

To get ripped hot abs, ensure that the following are incorporated in your exercise routine:

1) Work all abdominal muscles. Crunches are classic, but your specific abdominal exercises should not be limited to these only. Examples of exercises that involve other abdominal parts are the following:

• Lying bicycle. From a lying position, bend your right leg at the knee while pulling your right thigh up at the hip. Curl your spine up to the right, letting your left elbow touch your right knee. Do the same routine from your other side, from the left leg.

• Standing towel circle. Stand up straight and hold a small towel (or resistance band) taut above your head. Contract abs and slowly whirl a large, wide circle over your head and around your torso with your hands.

• Seated jackknife: From a supine lying position, stretch your legs and arms and keep a pad or a form of support under the hips. Pull your legs back with knees bent. All together, bring your head, shoulders and arms forward to jackknife position pivoting on the buttocks. Hold the contraction.

2) Cardio is the way to go. Walking, running, jogging, swimming, and aerobics are good examples. Cardio burns calories and thus sheds the fat that hides your hot abs.

Belly dancing, particularly for women, is especially a good combination of cardiovascular and abs exercise. Not only can it tone the tummy and make it sexy, it is also fun!

3) Lift those weights. Building muscle through weightlifting is essential to get that great, fast abs as increased muscle mass means a faster and higher rate of burning calories.

Mind and Body Connection

If you do not believe that you can have that sexy abs, you are slowing or cutting down the results of your workout program. Imagine yourself with that hot abs and believe it. A good visualization exercise would be to imagine seeing yourself in the mirror – only you are seeing a sexier you with the exact kind of abs you have always dreamed of. Then, allow yourself to enter the mirror and merge with that image. Note how you feel. After getting in touch with all sensations, step out of the mirror and push it away.

Yoga can also improve your concentration and will power to stick with your routine. Meditation and daily affirmation can generally increase your results.

Follow these tips to get your desired washboard abs, complement it with a healthy abs diet, and watch the results. With these tips, you will soon be flaunting your hot abs with confidence!

Nice Abs – How to Get a Sexy and Slim Waistline

Most everyone wants to have nice abs that look slim and sexy. However, there are a few very common mistakes that many people make which prevents from getting a solid six pack.

Mistake #1: Trying to do too many crunches to lose stomach fat

If only doing lots of crunches worked for carving out a solid set of abs. If doing a few hundred crunches was all it took to lose body fat then everyone walking around would not have any excess fat. Doing lots of crunches and other ab exercises do not help you get nice abs simply because they do not help you lose the fat that covers them up!

Ab exercises simply do not burn enough calories or stimulate the body’s metabolism enough to get down to 8-10% body fat for a man and 15-20% if you are a woman. The only way doing lots of crunches will help is if you are already down to a very low body fat percentage and want to increase the “toned” look of your abs. If you cannot see your abs at all then it simply means that is too much body fat covering them up!

Therefore, the focus of your diet and exercise routine should be to lose body fat so you can see your abs. Doing endless amounts of ab exercises just won’t help do that.

Mistake #2: Not keeping a food log

Since you know that getting a nice set of six pack abs all depends on having low enough levels of body fat, you should know that the next step is to pay attention to the most important part of the whole process: the amount of calories you are consuming.

If you have excess body fat that you can’t seem to get rid of, then you absolutely have to understand that it is simply the result of taking in too many calories. Its not from poor genetics or some other physical disorder, it just comes down to consuming too many calories. The fitness models who have the sexiest abs of anyone will be the first to tell you they got that way by being extremely careful about what they eat.

The absolute best indication you can use for figuring this out is to keep a food log of what you are eating. You will be amazed at the perspective you will gain about your eating habits from keeping a food log.

Since getting nice abs and a lean midsection is all about losing body fat, and losing body fat is all about taking in less calories or burning more with exercise, then a food log to track yourself is an absolute must.

Mistake #3: Not lifting weights

This will seem counterintuitive to some, but lifting weights is an excellent way to lose more body fat. Resistance training will give you more lean muscle mass that will have a dramatic impact with increasing your resting metabolism.

This means that you are burning more calories because muscle is very active tissue. If you are not strength training then you are missing a huge opportunity to burn more calories. It has been said that each extra pound of muscle mass burns an extra 60 calories per day. If you gain even 3 lbs of lean muscle tissue, you will burn an extra 180 calories each day! That is much more than a simple ab workout will burn.

Conclusion

Getting nice abs does not have to be a big struggle in which you are constantly playing the guessing game. You simply need to eat the right foods at the right time while tracking your calories.

You can use a regular notebook or an online food log if you want more detail. By focusing more attention on total body strength training, your body will develop more lean muscle mass and have a higher metabolic rate.

Now take action right away and start developing those nice abs to show off!

Are you not getting the results you want with diet and exercise? If so, there is good news for you. Most people these days eat way to much Junk food and don’t truly understand what it takes to get six pack abs.Getting six pack abs is not an easy task and does require some effort and dedication. Below is a general guide that, if followed for 3-4months, will indeed give you what you want, six pack abs!

Food:

This is one of the biggest factors that comes into the puzzle. If you are not eating right, chances are that you have a layer of fat that surrounds your abs. If this is the case then you need to start breaking up your daily meals into 5-6 small snacks. This will help speed up your metabolism, and try to stop eating all that excess food that is helping prevent your abs from showing through: soda, white bread, pasta, dessert, candy, fast food, sugars and hydrogenated oils.

Fact: You must become more aware of what you are putting through your body if you want a lean six pack abs!

Why don’t you eat foods that are going to help you reach you six pack abs goal? Try eating foods like: fruits, vegetables, nuts, oatmeal, whole grain breads, chicken, fish, protein, green tea and water. It will take a little bit of time to get everything into check so don’t be to hard on yourself if you slip up, take your time but make sure to make a conscious effort everyday to improve your eating habits because if you don’t, then you will never see your six pack abs.

Exercises:

When it comes to exercises, there are 3 steps that play a vital part in weight loss.

1) Cardio 2) Weight lifting 3) Abdominal training

You should be aiming for 3-4 workout’s a week.

1) Cardio- This can range from anything to walking, running, biking, dancing, swimming…whatever you decide to do is entirely up to you so try to keep it interesting and fun. To get maximum results when doing cardio, you should mix it up a little by doing bursts in your workout.for example, if you are on a bike, peddle for one minute at a intermediate level then the following minute step it up to high pace cycling. Rinse and repeat this process for ten minutes.

2) Weight Lifting- It is important to have weight training in your workout because 3 pounds of added muscle burns as many calories as a 1 mile jog…..and this is when you are doing nothing. If your not sure on what type of exercises to do to get the most out of your weight training then i highly suggest you check out our website.

3)Abdominal training-One of the last things we need to think about when getting a six pack stomach is our abs training. Ideally you should be aiming for 3 workouts a week on your abs. There are so many different exercises out there today and i’m not just talking about you standard crunch, If you are have a good abs program in place then you will see results super fast. A great database for various six pack abs exercises and a abs program can be found at our website.

Here is a small tip: Always mix your workout up about every 2-3 weeks, doing this will always keep your body guessing and improving. Change the weights, try different exercises, do more reps….the important thing here is to not let your body get to comfortable with the workout.

The How To Get Ripped Abs Secret

Every four years, I look forward to the summer Olympics.  I thoroughly enjoy watching and following the big events.  While rooting on my favorite athletes, I cant help but notice the incredible abdominal development of the gymnasts.

Sure, these gymnasts have great genetics, but I can assure you that they were not born with chiseled six pack abs.  A lot of hard work went into developing those sculpted physiques.

Olympic gymnasts have some of the most amazing bodies in the world, so why is that no one seems to seek out their training methods when trying to get ripped abs?

All you have to do is start your workout with three back flips everyday–okay, just making sure you’re paying attention. Although we don’t need to do everything a gymnast would do in their daily routine we should examine some of the workout regimine to see what we could bring into our own routines.

Throughout my years of training and research I have spent a great deal of time at Olympic training centers and have come to realize that they don’t perform typical ab workouts; I did notice that they perform two specific ab exercises on a regular basis which are listed below:

1. The Hanging Leg Raise- Grab a chin bar with an overhand grip. While initiating movement with your abs, bring your legs up until your shins are just about touching the bar. In a smooth, controlled motion return until waist, hips and legs are completely extended. Repeat exercise.

2. The V-Sit Up- Lie down with hands over head and legs extended. At the same time raise legs and torso and reach your hands towards your feet. Return to starting position fully extended on floor.

Olympic gymnasts not only use these direct ab workouts, they also do an immense amount of indirect ab workouts from full body movements which will work the abdominals in the way they are intended to work.

The basic lesson here is that we must work our whole body in order to work our abs to stabilize our torso. I have listed three full body movements below which you can do right away as they don’t require any fancy seat or back/chest support.

1. Lose the bench press for suspended push ups. Your abs are basically asleep when you lie on your back on a bench but if you switch this up with suspended push ups, the opposite occurs. Suspended push ups work your chest, triceps, shoulders and most importantly the abs.

2. Forget the pulldown for chin ups. Much like when you lie on a bench, when you sit on a pulldown seat your abs don’t work at all. However, when doing a chin up your abs are really fired up!

3. Ditch the leg press for tuck jumps.  Just like the bench press, the leg press puts your abs to sleep because of the bench support.  But the leg press even has a second strike against it.  Since the sled is on guiding rods that only allow it to move linearly, no stabilization or support is needed from your abs.  Tuck jumps, on the other hand, provide a great leg workout AND a great ab workout in one single exercise.

These movements are so powerful because they kill two birds with one stone in the sense that you are working your whole body while getting a serious ab workout.  If you follow the workouts I have listed above, you’ll get ripped abs in no time!

Flat Abs Fast! Eat This!

We want quick abs. Why is it that most people don’t achieve this? Some of you may be working out hard and trying to watch what you eat. So why so little results?

There are 3 main reasons why people don’t lose weight and don’t get those muscle abs.

1. They are not working out in the right way. 2. They are not eating properly 3. They are not focused mentally With the right workout abs diet, exercise routine and good mental attitude, you can see a flat stomach in 90 days and muscle abs in 6 months or less. In this article I will be talking about number 2 reason, eating properly. Too many of the wrong calories, not choosing healthy snacks & not eating at the optimum times of the day will put a halt on people’s fat loss progress.

There is a lot of confusion when it comes to dieting. It doesn’t surprise me, with so much bad information out there on the latest ‘fad’ diets, slimming pills, and supplements, people have become confused when it comes to fat loss.

I will point out 6 powerful ways to get Flat Abs Fast in a healthy way. You want a diet that will help your metabolism work at the optimal level. One of the ways you can speed up you metabolism is by changing the way you eat.

1. Don’t just eat 3 meals a day, which has become the standard norm, make your meals smaller and eat 5 to 6 times a day. This will help your metabolism increase. It will help you burn calories, burn the fat right off your body fast and develop those muscle abs. 2. Eat Protein in every meal because it builds muscle tissue which in turn, burns fat. Also, Protein tends to fill you up more, so you are less inclined to over-indulge. We All have different protein requirements that may differ from person to person, however, recent studies show that people whose diets were made up of 55% protein and 45% carbs, lose more weight than those who ate the reverse. Chicken, Fish, Eggs, and Nuts are great sources of protein. 3. Avoid Wheat and Gluten Wheat and gluten are hard on the digestion system. Try to stick with rye, corn, millet and wheat free breads. You will see wheat in a huge portion of our foods like…bread, cakes, biscuits etc. 4. Be Wary Of Some Dairy Products Dairy products, with the EXCEPTION of eggs, full fat live yogurt and butter, are heavily processed and use pasteurization and homogenization in order to maintain shelf life. These processes kill off all the enzymes required to properly digest them meaning your body has to work overtime to digest them. 5. Stay Away From Foods Containing Sugars Stay away from foods with additives, preservatives and emulsifiers. You can find them by seeing foods that end with o-s-e. For Example.. Sucrose, glucose, dextrose, lactose and maltose. These should be avoided like the plague! There are toxic to your system and put on the pounds.6. Avoid Alcohol Achieving flat abs fast is about burning more calories than you consume. Alcohol can increase your appetite (Meaning you crave more carbs) which will result in adding more consumed calories. Alcohol is also a potent sugar. Not a good choice if you are wanting to burn fat and develop muscle abs. It can also put stress upon your liver, kidney and adrenal glands. This increases your body fat storage.

EAT plenty of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and good organic protein sources.

More Foods to avoid that will put the pounds on… * White Bread or flour * Fructose Corn Syrup * Pop/Soda * Candy * White Sugar * Desserts * Heavy pasta sauces * Deep fried foods * Most Fast foods like Hotdogs, hamburgers etc. (high in FAT)

Snacking with the right food in between meals can speed up your metabolism which means you burn calories at a quicker rate. Try breaking your daily food intake into 5 to 6 portions and eat at 2-4 hour intervals. This will ensure a steady flow of nutrients without leaving much fat for storage.

Changing your eating habits is vital to getting flat abs fast. Taking the steps in making these changes will not only give you better health but is necessary for getting those sexy muscle abs; all worth the effort.

The no 1 six pack abs exersice
